Simple,Healthy Yet Delicious Subway styled Sandwich
I am huge fan of sandwiches 😀😀. i can survive only on sandwich for whole day.In my Kitchen i used to experiment variety of sandwiches on regular basis.Below is my recipe of Subway sandwich which i made at home and i become a tremendous fan of it.This is very Simple yet Tasty to prepared as it require just few minutes (just say 5 to 6 min) and biggest advantage of this is you can prepared it with lots of veggies of your choice.
I have not used any patty in this sandwich this time.but i wish to try it in future so as i will make it i will definitely share it here.
Ingredients :-
1.1 loaf of Baguette
2.2 cups of Mixed Veggies of your choice (i used red,yellow bell peppers+Capsicum+ onion) (cut everything lengthwise)
3. 2 tsp low fat mayonnaise (optional)
4. Italian seasonings
5. Avocado dressing (recipe below)
6.1/4 tsp crushed black pepper
7.4 tsp extra virgin olive oil (3 tsp for avocado dressing and remaining for spreading over sandwich in the end)
8.Salt (as per taste)
Recipe:- Avocado Dressing
In a blender take flesh of avocado (take 1 medium avocado cut it and remove its flesh), add handful fresh cilantro,2 to 3 garlic pods,2 to 3 tsp extra virgin olive oil,salt(as per taste),1 to 1/2 tsp lemon juice,2 to 3 small medium hot green chilies(add in more quantity if prefer spicy) and blend everything well until u get smooth.
(Tip:- You can store this for a week for later use also so can make in large quantity of using around 2 to 3 avocado's)
Recipe:-Sandwich
Cut a loaf of baguette in center and make two half's just like u can put all stuff inside it.
Then apply a thin layer of avocado dressing,mayonnaise (optional),then arrange veggies of your choice then sprinkle some black pepper and Italian seasoning,sprinkle some olive oil and serve your subway style Sandwich with avocado dressing and tomato ketchup.😆
You can add slices of hard boiled egg too to make it more healthy and protein rich.
