                 Navratri Special- Sabudana Khichdi 


As all are celebrating navratri festival in country and around country also with full of passion and enthusiasm so fasting also comes with different recipes too try and indulge in it."SABUDANA KHICHDI" is also one the most popular Maharashtrian fasting breakfast dish and enjoyed by all age groups in almost all households.Which is prepared by tapioca pearls or sago,potato and peanuts.











Ingredients:-

1. 1 cup Tapioca pearls/sago/sabudana
2. 3/4 cup roasted peanuts powder
3. 2 to 3 chopped green chillies
4. 1 cup boiled pototo cubes
5. Salt to taste
6. Sugar to taste 
7. 1 tsp lemon juice
8. 1 tsp cumin seeds (optional) 
9. Handful of chopped fresh coriander (optional)  
10. 2 tbsp oil/ghee


How to Prepare :- 

1. Soak tapioca pearls/sago/sabudana  for 6 to 7 hours or overnight.

2. Dry roast peanuts and deskin it and grind it coursly.

3. Heat oil/ghee in pan/wok then add cumin seeds,green chillies and when splutter add sago, peanuts powder and saute well.

4.Now add potato,salt,sugar and lemon juice and garnish it with coriander.(Coriander is optional as in most places it is not used in fasting food).

5.Serve it with sweet curd/yogurt/dahi or buttermilk. or lemon wedge.☺
