Winter Speciality - Gajar Halwa/ Carrot Fudge
Although there is no winter in my part of world 🌏 but still i made this delicious gajar halwa as you can not deny your cravings for "Gajar Ka Halwa" as my whole childhood and every winter since childhood i have grown up eating this yummy and healthy gajar halwa. As Indian winter specially demands lots more delicious food and this is one of that.This dessert is liked by all age groups in family. Recipe is really very simple and healthy too.
Ingredients:-
1. 1/2 kg Carrots (Or as u wish to prepare)
2. 3 to 4 cups full cream milk
3. 2 to 3 tbsp ghee
4. 1/3 cup sugar (or depends upon sweetness you prefer)
5. dry fruits of choice
6. pinch of cardamom powder
How to prepare:-
1. Wash,peel and grate carrots and keep aside.
2. Heat ghee in wok/kadai.
3. Add grated carrots and cover and let it cook for 5 to 6 mins or until it cooks properly.
4.Once carrots are cooked add sugar,cardamom powder and mix well everything.
5.Add boiled milk and mix well and again cover and cook until milk gets completely evaporates.
6.Now garnish with chopped dry fruits.and it's done!! 😍😍
