   Maharashtrian Gul Poli With The Happy New Year 2018

                Jaggery and Sesame Seeds Stuffed Maharashtrian Gul Poli  💝💝 गुळपोळी 
There is crazy rainfall since last week in my part of world 🌍 and was a little bit cold weather which was highly demanding enormous cups of tea n coffee ☕☕ and something soothing winter food and i end up making these hearty #gulpoli's which my grandma used to make during "Makar Sankrant". I made these #vegan #gulpoli because in past few weeks i was following vegan diet and got a fantastic recipe from one of my Facebook food group member friend which i alter by replacing ghee with gingerly  oil for roasting gulpoli's.

Maharashtrian gulpoli taste heavenly with heavily pourings of ghee and i also love eating it with dunking with milk but this time due to my vegan diet i end up eating it with hot hot thecha 🌶 and fresh mango pickle 🍋 which was too absolutely yummm combination 😋 













Ingredients -
1. 2 cups of jaggery
2. 1/2 cup gram flour
3. 1/2 cup sesame seeds 
3. 1/4 cup oil
4. 3 cups wheat flour
5. 1/2 cup of plain flour(Optional)
6. 6 tsp of oil 
7. Rice flour (For Rolling) Optional  
8. ghee/oil (for roasting)
Method: 

Roast gram flour in little oil. 

Dry roast sesame seeds in the same pan and add powdered jaggery + Sesame seeds + gram flour into grinder jar and grind finely or coarsely  as per choice. 

Knead 3 cups of wheat flour with pinch of salt + 6 tsp hot oil + 1/2 cup plain flour (optional) and water as require to make dough.

Take small ball of wheat flour dough and roll it into small poori size and stuff small ball of jaggery , sesame seeds mixture and again make a round ball with it and roll it with rice flour and roast on both sides with little oil/ghee.

Serve hot or cold and enjoy dunking gul poli with milk or heavy pourings of ghee. 😍😍
